Who we are

ListSignal is operated by Keybloc Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the information described below. Questions: [email protected].

Information about you

When you create an account we collect your email address. If you subscribe or buy a data file, our payment processor collects your payment details. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of the account activity needed to run the service and resolve billing questions: sign-ins, searches, exports and downloads, each with a date, approximate origin (IP address) and browser identifier. We use a privacy-preserving analytics tool that does not build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cookies keep you signed in, nothing more.

Business information we publish

ListSignal compiles a directory of businesses from information already published on the open internet and from public registries and datasets, company websites and the details businesses choose to publish on them, such as a general contact address.

We gather only what is publicly accessible without logging in. We never attempt to bypass access controls, paywalls, or any measure a site uses to restrict access, and we crawl at a deliberately gentle rate. We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we do not target information about private individuals.

Where a business contact detail relates to an identifiable person, a sole trader, for example, we process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a business directory, balanced against that person's rights. You can object at any time (see "Removing your business").

How your information is used

To give you access to your account, provide the features your plan includes, take payment, prevent abuse, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Activity records also let us demonstrate that a customer received what they paid for if a payment is later disputed.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us operate, and only as far as they need: our payment processor (subscriptions and one-off purchases), our email delivery provider (sign-in links and receipts), and our hosting and network security providers. Each is bound by contract to protect the information. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Where it is held, and for how long

Our systems are hosted in the United States and Europe and we are established in Singapore, so your information may be transferred across borders. It is protected in transit and at rest, and access is limited to those who need it.

Account information is kept while your account exists. Billing records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. Activity, purchase and download records are kept for up to 24 months, which covers the period in which a payment can be disputed.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to how we use it. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or UK you may complain to your local data protection authority. In Singapore, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission.

Removing your business

If your business appears in our directory and you want the entry removed, email [email protected] from an address at that domain, or tell us how we can verify your connection to it. We will remove it and keep the minimum record needed to stop it being added again.

Children

ListSignal is a business tool, not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects you, tell you by email.
